This coin carries the luster of a beginning.</p><p>Under Harun, Baghdad would become the wealthiest city on earth, home to the House of Wisdom and a magnet for scholars worldwide. He did not yet know he would become a legend, his name immortalized in the Thousand and One Nights; he only knew he was a new Caliph proving himself, and this dinar was his first proof.</p>
