Umayyad Dirham (Minted in al-Taymara, 128 AH) – Reign of Marwan ibn Muhammad
<p>Umayyad dirhams were struck at Taymara from 90 to 98 AH. Striking then stopped until 128 AH. In that year, those who rose against the Umayyad state struck this dirham. It bears the verse from Surat al-Shura: "Say, I ask of you no reward for it except love for my kinsfolk." The rebels struck again at Taymara in 129 AH.</p>
