Umayyad Dirham (Minted in al-Bab, 128 AH) – Reign of Marwan ibn Muhammad

This dirham stands for the final issues of a frontier mint that worked from 93 to 128 AH, in the reign of Marwan ibn Muhammad. It follows the Al-Bab dirham of 121 AH in this group by seven years.</p>
