Umayyad Dinar (Minted in 121 AH) – Reign of Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik

This dinar came forty-four years after Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan's monetary reform, in 121 AH. Umayyad dinars identify themselves through the declaration of faith and the date of minting, so no mint name appears on them. It belongs to the reign of Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik, whose state stretched from Al-Andalus in the west to Sindh in the east.
