Umayyad Dinar (Minted in 113 AH) – Reign of Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik

This year the dinar returned to its usual weight after the lighter issue of the previous year. It kept its unified design with no mint name, as the Caliphate had done for decades.

Dated 113 AH in Hisham's reign, this dinar shows that the variation was a passing exception, and the state's overall monetary policy stayed the same.
