Umayyad Dirham (Minted in al-Mubaraka, 109 AH) – Reign of Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik

Al-Mubaraka mint worked in just two phases: from 106 to 110 AH, and again from 116 to 120 AH, ten years of striking in all. This dirham dates to 109 AH, four years after Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik took the caliphate, and belongs to the first phase. A five-year pause followed. The mint closed five years before Hisham's reign ended.
