Surat al-Ard (The Face of the Earth)
A work of geography and travel by Ibn Hawqal (d. after 367 AH). It describes the regions of the Islamic world, their towns, their economy and their trade routes, drawing on the author's own observations on his travels, and includes maps of the regions.
