Al-Masalik wa al-Mamalik (Roads and Kingdoms)
A title shared by several works of Islamic geography, the best known by Ibn Khurradadhbih and al-Istakhri. They describe the routes and distances between countries and regions, and their resources and land tax, and are an important source for the administrative and commercial geography of the Abbasid period.
