Mu'jam al-Buldan (Dictionary of Countries)
A geographical encyclopedia by Yaqut al-Hamawi (d. 626 AH), arranged in alphabetical order. It describes towns, villages, mountains and rivers, fixes the spelling of their names, and gives their history and the people associated with them. It is a basic reference for locating mints.
