Tijarat al-Hijaz (The Trade of the Hijaz)
The book studies trade in the Hijaz between 1812 and 1840, a period of political and economic change in the region. It is concerned with the foreign trade of the Hijaz, and is useful for the study of commercial activity and the economic ties between the Hijaz and its neighboring regions in the early nineteenth century.
